Entered for safe-keeping because it's so easy, yet so good. Found in California Sizzles. Due to the calories, I would recommend serving in small cups.
- 10 ounces canned cream of tomato soup
- 1⁄3 cup sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup dry sherry
- 10 ounces canned beef consomme
- 1⁄4 cup grated onion
- 1⁄2 teaspoon celery salt
- Mix all ingredients together and heat thoroughly over medium heat.
Very easy and quickly prepared ~ an elegant way to dress up tomato soup! The flavor was good, but a bit salty for my taste. Made for PRMR 2012.
