  1. I couldn't get my hasbrowns to brown. It may have been that my bacon was really lean. Other than that my family like it.

  2. Breakfast at its finest. I topped mine with salsa.

  3. A very filling lunch recipe - we found that 1 egg each was plenty. My variations are: used 1/2 cup diced ham and 1 tbsp oil instead of bacon (added ham with the onions) and omitted the cheese. Still really yummy. My modified version has become the "Most Favourite thing for Weekend Breakfast" in our family.

  4. This is probably my favorite breakfast recipe of all time. I make multiple variations, using bell peppers, jalapeños, diced potatoes, or whatever else I have on hand. Adding some chopped garlic on top for the last 8 minutes while covered is great too! I also tend to use some additional spices, especially smoked spanish paprika.

  5. We have this at least a couple times a month for dinner.Love it.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
