"If your cantaloupe is very sweet, this is a smoothie that requires no sweetener. I came up with this smoothie due to an overabundance of cantaloupe and it is delicious."

  1. It was great! Found your recipe from supercook.com because I wanted to use my cantaloupe in a smoothie before it went bad. I did not have milk, but I had coconut milk, soy milk, and coconut water I combined to make the milk portion. It would have been even better if I froze some of the fruit first. yum!

  2. Oddly enough I could not taste the cantaloupe at all. Mine was very pink from the strawberries, but there was really no taste. (Which surprised me since my cantaloupe was exceptionally sweet.) It had nice texture and I drank it all. But not one I'd make again. Sure was a great idea to use up my abundance of cantaloupe! Thanks!

  3. I had to alter the ingredients in this a bit to suit our tastes. As is, it just tasted too much like cantaloupe and it overpowered the other ingredients so much in fact that I could hardly taste the strawberry or banana. I added one whole banana instead of 1/2 and 8 strawberries. It made a bit more, but had a better flavor. Thanks for the recipe idea! I will make it again with my changes. Thanks!

I am a vegetarian and I love to cook. I have been trying to incorporate whole wheat into my baked goods and have been eating much healthier foods. I really don't have a favorite cookbook, I mainly try different recipes out on the internet.
