I have to stand out in the cold every morning at work. I am not a coffee drinker so this was a nice alternative to the cocoa I usually drink. Thanks
MMMMMMMMM. My new favorite mulled drink. This is great, possibly a little on the sweet side, but good on a cold morning.
I tried this and I loved it. I am really not a fan of apple juice, so this will work well for my holiday entertaininng! Thanks to Amy! Always, Remembering Amy!!!
I wanted something hot to drink and wasn't in the mood for coffee or tea. I found your recipe and gave it a try. It was delicious! It had just enough spice for me not overpowering. Thanks Redneck Epicurean. Bullwinkle.
This juice is wonderful! Both my husband and I LOVE it! I juiced red grapes in my own juicer instead of purchasing juice and strained the juice prior to serving. Move over apple cider - this is our new favorite!
I love this! The spices complement the juice perfectly. Just the right amount of sugar. I, too, used Welch's grape juice. I didn't mind the sludge made by the spices, but would strain it for guests. This would be great at Christmas/New Years. Love it!!!
Fantastic stuff! I really loved this drink, the grape juice and spices compliment each other nicely. Similar to spiced wine but without the alcohol. Be sure to use 100% grape juice and yes, I think Welch's is the best, too. For guests, I would strain the spices with a cheese cloth, but when it's just me, I'm OK with a little sludge at the bottom of the cup. Perfect for a cold winter day. Thanks, Amy, for sharing the recipe!
