This one wasn't broke so I didn't change a thing, except I don't eat bacon.
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or favorite cheese)
- mayonnaise type salad dressing
- 1⁄2-1 lb bacon, crisp fried and crumbled (or substitute, I like sunflower seeds)
- Layer in order given.
- Spread dressing 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.
- Cover and refrigerate over night or all day.
- Toss and serve.
