A firm favourite with the kids as an after school snack. Dangerously "moorish" Better make a double batch! Thanks to my friend Heather!

  1. Melt Margarine and Golden Syrup over low heat or in the microwave.
  2. Mix Bicarb Soda with water and add to margarine and syrup mix.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Mix margarine and syrup through.
  5. Place small balls onto lightly greased trays and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake 150 deg celcius for 15 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool on trays.

Mmmm! This has to be from a fellow Aussie. An ANZAC biscuits with sesame seeds - just in time for ANZAC Day. Had to add a little extra butter to make them bind better to roll them. Great twist on an old favourite.

5 big stars for flavour - wonderful sesame flavour. I agree, these are like Anzacs but with a twist. I also had to add another tablespoon of butter and some water to make the mix come together. Just needed longer in the oven is all..Thanks for the recipe, it's a beauty!
