Sesame salt is a delicious seasoning for steamed vegetables, cooked grains, and legumes.
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until the seeds begin to pop and brown slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a blender, add the salt, and grind into a fine powder.
This salt blend works well on steamed veggies. I'd used this idea long back on one of your steamed veggies dish. Was pretty good:)
