Sesame Flank Steak

We love this easy summer dish. You can make it under the broiler as well. It goes nicely with a new potato salad. Prep time does not include overnight marinating

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Make the marinade by whisking everything together in a bowl.
  2. Pour over flank steaks and marinate overnight.
  3. Heat the grill and sear the steaks on both sides. Continue cooking, basting as needed, about 6 minutes per side. Slice against the grain.

Flank steak is my DH's Favorite, He loved this. I surprised him with it for his birthday dinner. The sesame and ginger along with the wine gives it a really good flavor, and is very tender. Thank you Chia for the recipe.

I marinated this for 24 hours so it was marinated through very well! I used Balsamic vinegar since I couldn't find my red wine vinegar. I had to broil since it was raining out. No matter, it was still good. Thanks for a nice easy marinade without sugar!
