Thank you Stormy Lee, for a very great recipe that I shared with my family for the Festive 4th of July, 2011. It was enjoyed by all!

I thought this had too much sesame oil for us. Just didn't care for that because it was so over powering. I think for DH and I if I decrease the sesame oil to 1 tsp (which is what I usually use) this will be a great recipe to grill this summer. Thanks. Made for PAC Spring 09

I am compromising in the number of stars I am giving. I really liked the chicken, but the rest of my family just thought it was ok.

This was a little sweet for my taste, but my family thought it was perfect as is. I would definately make it again. It was very easy. We didn't bake, but instead put it all in a pan and cooked it on the stovetop with a little cornstarch at the end to thicken the sauce. We sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds and fresh scallions.

So quick and delicious! I used turkey breasts, as the store was out of chicken. BF grilled them - unfortunately for a little bit too long, so the meat got a little bit tough. Well, we still enjoyed those and as this recipe is so quick, tasty and leaves you the option of making in the oven or on the barbecue it is a keeper for sure. Thank you Stormylee.

Great dish!!! Excellent!!! I used turkey breast istead of chicken, and parsley instead of cilantro. Very easy and so tasty. Thanks Stormy!!!

I took the cue from your intro and grilled these--turned the skewers a couple of times, painting with a little marinade each time. Absolutely delicious! Thanks, Stormy!

Very good recipe and so easy to make. I used chicken tenderloins, lite soy sauce, and parsley instead of cilantro. Refrigerated all afternoon and had a wonderful meal for supper!

No sml wonder this recipe appears to be 1 of the most popular of ZWT - it should be! Chicken breasts cost $11-$12/lb here, so we used wings & just added garlic to the marinade (a must for us). So good Stormy - Among the best oriental wings we've had & definitely restaurant quality. Thx for posting. Edited to add: Altho I did wings here, I did comply w/the spirit of the recipe & challenge by skewering them - a little tough, but I managed. :-) — Jun 27, 2006 7/1 Edited to add your 5 stars Stormy. Sorry.

Made these a couple of weeks ago, and threw them in the freezer. Defrosted them yesterday and threw them in the oven. We thought they were good. Next time I will also use brown sugar to hopefully make the sauce a bit thicker/richer. Thanks for sharing such an easy recipe.

Wow. These were good and easy too! I threw allthe marinade ingredients in the bag with my 3 frozen chicken breasts and placed it in the fridge. The next day, I took out the meat, sliced it and threaded it onto 4 skewers that I had soaked all day. This fed four of us very well. I served it with white rice and a veggie side. The only thing I would do differently is next time, I will use brown sugar instead of white. That will help impart a bit more sweetness. But it was excellent as is as well. Either way, this is a winner! Thanks for posting!!

This recipe was a huge hit with us. We liked the flavors a lot. I made no changes other than grilling the skewers instead of oven baking. I think these would be wonderful done on smaller skewers for an appetizer party too. Your recipe is a keeper! Thanks Stormylee!

These were fabulous - a very big hit with my entire family. I followed the recipe apart from toasting the sesame seeds...I was just too tired to do it. Everyone asked if I could make this again (and wanted dates!!!). Delicious - thanks for the recipe!!!
