Great recipe and a nice change from steamed or roasted asparagus. Loved all of the flavors in this. And pretty easy to put together.
A nice new (for us, at least) way to serve a vegetable that we enjoy, especially when I can find a very tender bunch! A different way to make asparagus, served with some maple chicken. The sauce was good, though it might be toned down next time, still we enjoyed this great side dish of a treat. :). Made for PRMR tag..
We liked this different way of preparing asparagus, which is a staple in our house. We made as specified. My lime was rather juicy, so I found the sauce a little bit tangy for our tastes. I might cut back on that a bit next time, though I see it was no problem for other reviewers. This came together quickly. We served as a side to Asian Beef Skewers 299324. Made for ZWT6.
What a great way to serve asparagus! So quick and easy with a fresh, delicious flavor. I left out the shallot, otherwise made as specified. Just loved the soy sauce/lime juice added at the end. Thanks for sharing this winner!
Wow, I made this as a side dish for my family to go with teriyaki baked salmon and steamed rice, I know it probably sounds strange but it worked great ! everything was gone in minutes even my 8 year old who tells me he does not like bell peppers and shallots ate everytyhing! the lime juice alongside the soy sauce is a nice twist.. I will make this again and again !
