Simple crockpot recipe for chicken. As a side dish, cook whole wheat pasta as directed on box, add a package of arugula, and the sauce from the chicken. Serve with a green salad and you have a great meal that won't heat up your kitchen.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 4 chicken leg quarters
  • 12 ounces emeril's sesame and ginger marinade
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 1 cup chicken stock


  1. Place onions and garlic in the bottom of crockpot.
  2. Add chicken trying to get the thighs on the onions, overlapping leg portions as necessary.
  3. Add mushrooms and pour marinade and chicken stock over all.
  4. Cook on low 8 hours.
