Directions

  1. Sift together the flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar, and crumble the butter inches
  2. Add the sugar and beaten egg.
  3. Knead thoroughly and roll into a cylinder.
  4. Cut slices and shape into small balls.
  5. Place on a greased cookie tray, press down gently with a fork.
  6. Brush with egg and sprinkle with chopped almonds or coarse sugar. Bake at 175°C for 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
