Posted on request by Sunbeam for chocolate mousse that uses gelatine. I got it from a cooking website, but couldn't remember which one.

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over water in medium saucepan; let stand for 1 minute.
  2. Stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved; stir in sugar.
  3. Stir in evaporated milk.
  4. Continue stirring over medium heat until milk is steaming hot (do not boil).
  5. Pour into blender container; add morsels and vanilla extract.
  6. Cover; blend on low speed until smooth.
  7. Pour into small mixer bowl.
  8. Chill, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds from a spoon.
  9. Beat on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes or until thick and light in color.
  10. Spoon into serving dishes; chill until ready to serve.
