So good! I had no seitan on hand so just made this with extra mushrooms. I didn't have veg. sour cream so used 2.5 T vegan alfredo with .5 T lemon juice. I was raised on beef stroganoff and this brought childhood back but in a much, much healthier way. Thanks for sharing this great recipe. Truly a keeper!

Really good and hearty veg food, this. The only thing I would do different would be to let the seitan soak in the gravy for a bit before cooking...just to impart a bit more flavor to it. It was still really fantastic, though!

The sauce for this was amazing!!! And, if you look up the calorie and fat content for traditional stroganoff recipes, you see how much better for you this vegan version is!!

I made this for my husband and I and it turned out great! I used hummus with tahini in it instead of just plain tahini and i used regular sour cream. It made the broth taste like chicken, it was uncanny! This was a dead on copy of real stroganoff.
Kudos to the cook! This will be a staple in my aresenal!
