Secret Sauce Meatballs

Ingredients:

Serves: 4

Yield: 2.5 cups

• 1 (11 ounce) can tomato soup
• ½ cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 onion , chopped
• 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup breadcrumbs
• 1 small onion , grated
• 1 carrot , grated fine
• salt and pepper

Directions:

1. Mix soup, sugar and lemon juice in slow cooker.
2. Add chopped onion.
3. Mix beef, egg, crumbs, grated onion and carrots, salt and pepper.
4. Form 1 inch meatballs (or desired size).
5. Cook on High 4 hours.
6. Reduce to low and cook 5 hours longer.
