My daughters, ages 12 and 6, love my meatloaf! But when I want to give them something close to it, but different, these meatballs are just the thing!

A real winner, these meatballs tasted delicious. The addition of the mustard made a big difference. I would reduce the sugar content though next time.

  1. Mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs in large mixing bowl.
  2. Shape into balls the size of golf balls.
  3. Place meatballs in shallow baking dish.
  4. Combine sauce ingredients.
  5. Pour over meat.
  6. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  7. Sauce should be caramelized, but not dry.
  8. Meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen.
  9. (Place frozen meatballs in pan; cover with sauce and bake. Baking time may vary) I've never done it with this recipe, but the crockpot could be a possibility!
