This is so easy to whip up as a dessert or for a snack ... or eat this for breakfast.
- 1 quart peach, drained
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, cold
- 2 -3 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup pecans, chopped
- Mix the brown sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon with either a fork or a pastry cutter till it resembles coarse ground meal. (You can also use your fingers). Stir in pecans.
- Place peaches in shallow baking dish or you can use ramikens for individual servings. Cover with topping.
- Place under broiler for 3-5 minutes, be careful not to let this burn.
Yummy and so easy! I made 1 1/2 times the topping, since that's always my favorite part. We ate leftovers on top of oatmeal the next morning, which was divine. Thanks for sharing!
This would have been better with slightly under-ripe peaches - good quick dessert.
