I eat a fair amount of fish so I keep this handy in my kitchen. I find it flavorful enough that I don't miss salt. Good on fish or seafood, even in tuna sandwiches. Also good in salad dressing. If you don't think you'll use it very often, you can halve the recipe. All amounts listed are for dried ingredients (except lemon peel may be dried or fresh).
- 29.58 ml parsley flakes
- 14.79 ml oregano
- 14.79 ml celery seed
- 14.79 ml savory
- 14.79 ml thyme
- 14.79 ml marjoram
- 14.79 ml grated lemon, rind of
- 1 crushed bay leaf
- Combine ingredients.
- store in a tightly covered jar.
This was a great blend for my fish. I did not have oregano or savory, so I used Italian seasoning and it still turn out to be good. Thank you for this recipe and I plan on using this again.
I've used this on shrimp several times and it's always fantastic.
I used this on some flounder fillets and it was awesome! We will have often this summer!
