This blend comes close to the flavors in the typical seasoned salt blends like Lawry's, without the sodium. Use it where seasoned salt is called for or when you want to give food a little extra flavor. This is really good on eggs and soups! Adapted from Low Sodium Cooking. This would also make a good gift!

This turned out quite well for no salt added (although my McCormick chili powder has salt as an ingredient on its label). The only thing I didn't like about this is the corriander, I just don't like it. I do have to say that I did not have Tumeric in my spice cabinet, but I read in the Food.com Kitchen Dictionary that dry mustard can be substituted, so that is what I used to replace the Tumeric. I then made this using no corriander and I enjoyed it very much. I will probably make this again. Thank you for posting this recipe. (Made for Name That Ingredient tag game)

I Will definitely use it again!
I can see all kinds of uses for this! I've been using the Mrs. Dash salt free spice mixes, and I'm happy to have one I can throw together easily myself. Also good to have something to substitute for seasoning salt....so many recipes call for it. Thanks for sharing!
