a great side dish
- 2 cans condensed chicken broth with garlic & herbs or 2 cans vegetable broth with onions
- 1 cup white rice
- In saucepan, bring condensed broth to boil.
- Stir in rice.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff and serve.
I needed something fast and easy and this really fit the bill. I bumped it up for 6 servings because of company and we all thought this was a great side dish for the oven baked chicken breasts. Easy, simple with a very nice taste. Thanks for the recipe. Chuck
Very easy to make..I also added a teaspoon of butter and half a teaspoon each of ground cumin powder and black pepper powder. That really made the rice fragrant as well. Recommed trying this with Spicy Raita or any Indian pickle. Mini
