Cook Time:
These are thick cut potatoes that are baked until golden brown. We use them as an appetizer for parties, sporting events, etc. We double the recipe because they go fast!!
Directions:
1
Wash and scrub potatoes, then cut into quarters.
2
Put oil and seasoned salt in a large zip lock bag. Add potatoes and shake well.
3
Place potatoes on a sheet pan and place in 400 degree oven until fork tender.
4
Serve with sour cream or cheese dip.
Ratings & Reviews:
These are very good I make them all the time but instead of seasoned salt I use regular salt and then use Mrs Dash extra spicy or Tony Chachere's more spice (about a tbsp and a bit)

In South Dakota, these are cut and soaked in salt water for up to half a day, drained in a colander, then shaken in fried chicken breading and pressure cooked with chicken for ten minutes. Then served with melted butter for dipping. Minus the chicken batter mix, seasoned salt, flour and pepper work just great..

These were tasty but seemed drenched in the oil. Next time I will skip the bag and just sprinkle with seasoning salt and drizzle with oil.
