I made this with a few differences. I used celery seed instead of celery salt (it's what I had in my spice cabinet) and I omitted the cayenne pepper because of my littles. I tasted some on my finger-wowzers! Can't wait to try it out! Update-tastes awesome on my eggs! I'm going to gift this as a Christmas present this year with the recipe it's that good. Better than the season all I ran out of.
Great seasoning for chicken. Have to disagree with the review below me by saying that this recipe needs no saving at all. It's a seasoning *salt* after all so it should be primarily just that. I also have to say that oregano has no place in this at all. Do yourself a favor and follow the recipe as is.
This recipe has way too much salt but with a little tweaking it can be saved. Use ground celery seed instead of celery salt. Cut the reg salt by half and reduce or eliminate the sugar. Much healthier and I personally added 1 Tbsp. oregano.
