Everyone at the table gave 5 stars each making it well over 5 stars! This is a wonderfully flavored chowder and one that I will remember to make again, I can assure you!

This is to die for chowder. This was my first attempt at homemade chowder and it turned out great. I cooked it for longer than called for to make it extra thick and it turned out wonderful. Thanks.

This recipe is AWESOME, and easy to make too! My new husband said this is a keeper, and that I need to make it for my in-laws. A couple of things I modified - I cut out most of the flour (down to 1/4 cup) and added about 3 potatoes, and mashed one to thicken it. For the fish I used bay scallops, and orange roughy. I also served it with crispy garlic bread that I put on the grill. I will be making this recipe again and again! Thanks Dolittle! :)

This recipe is amazing. We have tried other seafood recipes calling for a long list of seafood ingredients, but this one produces exactly the same flavor using only the following seafood - crab, baby clams and shrimps. Living in Germany where we have to go to special gourmet stores to obtain expensive seafood, this was such a blessing for all 3 seafood ingredients could be found canned in any small grocery store nearby. A cheap alternative yielding just the same flavor, without all the fat. Thank you Dolittle57 !:)
