Sea Scallops in Sweet Pepper Sauce

We thought this was bland. I'm not sure how to punch it up. Maybe add more garlic or some cayenne pepper???

  1. In lg skillet, melt butter and cook scallops for about 7 minutes, until golden brown.
  2. Remove and keep warm.
  3. In same skillet, add pepper, onion and garlic.
  4. Cook 2 minutes.
  5. Add wine, stir 1 minute.
  6. Add broth, milk, and parsley.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens, 1-2 minutes.
  9. Add scallops and heat through.
