wonderfully sweet cherries, much better than the day glo ones found in the jars.
- Place cherries in a pan with 50ml water, sugar and cinnamon.
- Bring to the boil and simmer (covered) for 3 minutes.
- Remove the cherries and boil the remaining syrup until it is reduced by half.
- Pour syrup over cherries and sprinkle with the rosewater.
- Chill until needed.
