This was handed down by my favourite Aunt Bertha. Delicious served with almost anything.
- Grate carrots into casserole dish.
- Cover tightly.
- Bake at 160°C for 30 minutes.
- Do not add water.
- Remove from oven and add butter, salt and freshly ground pepper.
- Serve immediately.
A good basic carrot recipe. The carrots retained their sweetness, which is a must for us. I was quite surprised that they were not watery, but they were moist. Would fix this again as a safe vegetable to accompany a spicy main course. Thnx for posting, scarfie. Made for 2008 Fall My-3-Chefs.
