- 8 slice pumpernickel bread
- 184.27 g havarti cheese, sliced
- 113.39 g smoked salmon
- 14.79 ml chopped fresh dill
directions
- Evenly distribute cheese, salmon and dill on four slices of bread.
- Top with remaining 4 slices of bread.
- Heat skillet over medium-low heat and cook sandwiches approximately 5 minutes on each side or until bread is toasty and cheese is melted.

Needed something quick to go with soup, so made some grilled cheese sandwiches and included this particular recipe. I'm so glad that I did because I loved it. I love fish (almost any kind), so there was nothing not to like. My favorite part was the addition of the dill which I had never done with grilled cheese or any other sandwich. It gave me the feeling that there were dill pickles in the sandwich, but there wasn't! Yum! Thank you Nif for sharing! Made it for CQ4, 2017 - Scandanavia.
