Posted in response to a request. I copied it off foodtv...can't remember who or all the details. I would think of this more as an appetizer but having never made it....
- 12 shucked scallops
- 1 minced shallot
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1⁄4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon wasabi
- Mix all together and spoon on top of scallops.
- Garnish with a little more wasabi.
- Plate on crushed ice or rock salt.
