Old fashioned and good.
- 1 (8 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon sugar
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 teaspoon butter or 1 teaspoon margarine
- 1⁄3 cup seasoned croutons
- In small saucepan, heat tomatoes, salt, sugar and pepper to boiling.
- Reduce heat; cover and simer 5 minutes.
- Stir in butter; sprinkle croutons on top.
