Very easy to put together. Good with baked ham.
- Put sliced potatoes into a 1 quart casserole dish.
- Pour evaporated milk over them.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 45 to 55 minutes, or until done.
This was really good and really easy. I substituted evaporated goat milk as my son has a milk allergy but it was incredibly creamy and delicious. I always go on the lighter side with salt and heavy on the pepper so salt wasn't an issue for us. Lots of family compliments - thanks!
Very good and easy! It seems to need a bit more salt for DH and I, but that is easily adjusted. This is a good company dish, because it it inexpensive and easily doubled, etc. Thanks MaeEast!! Pick a Chef June 2004
