Ingredients Nutrition

  • 20 ounces Simply Potatoes Diced Potatoes with Onion
  • 1 (20 ounce) bagfrozen rutabagas (turnip)
  • 4 tablespoons butter or 12 cup margarine
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 12 cups milk (or use 1-12 oz can of evaporated milk with 2 oz water) or 1 12 cups light cream (or use 1-12 oz can of evaporated milk with 2 oz water)
  • 12 cup bacon bits

Directions

  1. Combine potatoes and rutabagas in a buttered casserole dish.
  2. Cut butter into small pieces and dot vegetables.
  3. Sprinkle flour evenly onto vegetables.
  4. Pour milk over vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle bacon bits over top.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbling and slightly brown on top.
