This is a recipe I got from a former co-worker. Everyone at the potluck lunch devoured the apples and wanted the recipe. It is very rich and it's definitely not low fat but for an occasional treat or for the holidays, it's fantastic. It can be served as dessert or as a side dish. ENJOY!!!

I made this for Easter dinner with ham and roasted chicken and everyone loved it. I cut the sugar down a wee bit and it was still delish! Grams called it an apple 'filling' and I think that was a good description too.
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cans sliced apples (Not pie filling)
