"Great on chicken, pork, and beef. This is full of Asian flavor from the sesame oil, scallions, garlic, and ginger. Try it on ribs."

  1. I had such high hopes for this marinade. All of the ingredients sounded terrific. We were a little disappointed; we felt the ginger flavor was a little overpowering. Next time I will omit the fresh ginger and just use the marmalade. We used this on chicken so maybe it would hold up better on the ribs as you suggested. Thanks for posting.

  2. Used on chicken breast. Fantastic fast flavor after only 1 hour of marinating. Had to also use orange marmalade but added cinnamon and cloves to acheive the spice flavor of the spiced ginger marm. Added some extra ginger also. Great quick recipe.

  3. This Marinade is delicious on baby back ribs. I couldn't find spiced ginger marmalade, So I used orange marmalade and made it as stated in recipe except I did used 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger along with the 1 teaspoon fresh ginger. It turned out GREAT. DH loved it, and I will be making this again. Thank you so very much Rita for posting the recipe.
