Savory Sourdough Curry Muffins

not sure where this inspiration came from besides a craving for curry and not being able to make my sourdough starter produce any edible offspring besides muffins. goes well with soup.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup sourdough starter
• 1 egg
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• ½ cup water
• 1⁄3; cup low-fat powdered milk
• 1 ¾ cups flour
• ¼ cup cornmeal
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 3 teaspoons salt
• ½ white onion , chopped
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 2 teaspoons dill
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 4 tablespoons curry powder , i use a mild one, might want to adjust if yours is strong
• ½ cup parmesan cheese (or feta or shredded cheddar)

Directions:

1. mix wet and dry separately, then combine quickly. do not overmix.
2. pour into greased muffin tins or line in paper. bake at 375f for 30 minute.
