Simply wonderful. I used half baby white mushrooms, half baby brown mushrooms, and toasted pine nuts. I spread it on toasted baguette--made a lovely, heart-warming lunch. Thanks for the post :)

Yum! Yum! I made this to use up some extra mushrooms and it was great! At first I just spread it on crackers but the leftovers I spread on crsuty french bread and warmed slightly in the oven-so delicious! I used sliced almonds for the nuts and light sour cream. Thanks for posting :)

Everyone loved it. I didn't use sourcream or butter...Used olive oil to cook and red wine instead of white. Great, simple, and yummy
Great for Passover on matzoh. Didn't have shallots on hand & substitued green onion. Turned out delicious.
