from " best slow cooker recipes", this is delicious, start it in the morning and it's ready for dinner when you are
- 3 lbs beef brisket
- 1 can Rotel Tomatoes
- 8 ounces applesauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- place brisket in crockpot.
- mix remaining ingredients, pour over meat.
- cook on low 10 hours.
- remove meat.
- pour juices into a pan, boil to thicken, about 15 minutes.
Mamma Mia -- I LOVE this, Chia! I made this overnight so hubby and I would have tasty "brown bag" lunches for work, and I ran into a big problem -- I kept nibbling at mine on the drive in!!! It just falls into pieces, it is so tender, and is so delicious. Five stars and a million thanks for sharing it.
With this interesting blend of ingredients, I expected a tastier sauce to result. The sauce was a little hot (spicy), but other than that, not much of a flavor, we thought. The meat did come out tender and falling apart. Good, just not great in my book.
