I made these to go along with grilled chicken, tossed salad, roasted garlic potatoes and breadsticks and ended up only eating the tomatoes! They were delicious. I cut them into thick slices instead of halving them. Thanks for the recipe!
- 4 tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup fine breadcrumbs
- 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons green chives, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 4 teaspoons butter or 4 teaspoons margarine
