  1. I made these to go along with grilled chicken, tossed salad, roasted garlic potatoes and breadsticks and ended up only eating the tomatoes! They were delicious. I cut them into thick slices instead of halving them. Thanks for the recipe!

  2. This was truly a presentation!!! I had some tomatoes and some mushrooms in bulk and really needed something great to use them in. So, I sliced the mushrooms and they went on top of the tomatoes and I used olive oil rather than margerine. In the end, one picture-worthy dish! Too bad it was paper "plate night" or I would have snapped some pictures. :) Thanks so much!

  3. Went into my cookbook looking for a side dish for supper last night, and this is the one I chose. So glad I did. I was a bit concerned that the tomatoes that I had were still a little on the green side, but it just made them better. We love the "tart" of the green tomatoes, and with this topping, it was a very good combination.

  4. Very, very good so tasty and easy to make, We still have lots of tomatoes in the garden, this was a tasty way to use some of them. I do belive that the topping would be good on zucchini and other veggies. I will be making these again, thanks for the recipe.
