ingredients

• 2 tablespoons black pepper
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 4 cups ketchup
• 2 cups cider vinegar
• 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
• 1⁄4 - 1⁄2 cup packed brown sugar (optional)

directions

1. vinegar and spice mixture in a large sauce pan.
2. Cook on medium heat 10 minuetes. reduce to low, add butter and simmer until melted.
3. Stir in brown sugar to tast.
