This is a yummy way to prepare fresh spinach.
- 10 ounces fresh spinach
- 10 ounces fresh Baby Spinach
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons teriyaki sauce
- fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and teriyaki sauce, then the spinach and pepper. Sautee until spinach is just wilted, about 3 - 4 minutes.
We used fresh spinach from the garden and the DH picked about what we would normally have when we just simply steam it but doing it this way we were wishing he picked more, lovely flavour and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Brookelynne, made for I Recommend tag game and recommend by weekend cooker.
Made recipe as written, we loved this dish, as we had it for a side dish last night. Made for 1-2-3 hits.
This is a very quick and easy spinach dish, and its delicious as well! This is the first time I've added teriyaki to my sauteed spinach, and it was great. I think this would be really nice with grilled teriyaki chicken. Thanks for sharing! Made for Football Tag 2009.
