mmmmmm....tasty! We chowed on this. I didn't have the chive and onion cream cheese, so I improvised and added some onion powder and dried chives to 3 tbs of cr. cheese. SMART! It worked great and I feel like I am moving up in the cooking world! You better come up with and post some more good recipes, especially since you are now eating for 2! :)

This stuff tastes awesome! I think Rachel should quit her job and start her own restaurant and make up cool recipes for me to eat!

We love-love-love your strom!! The only change up I performed was to add a layer (a thick one) of sliced pepperoni and I used all mozzerella...and lots of it. Next time we are adding mushrooms. I had missed purchasing the chive and onion cream cheese so to keep from making a trip to the store I just used plain cream cheese and added some freeze dried chives that I keep on hand. Tip: I was worried about the meat mixture soaking through the dough as I used a little too much sauce so I spread a layer of the cream cheese/sour cream mixture on the bottom, then added the meat mixture, then topped with remaining cream cheese/sour cream mixture. I put the layer of pepperoni on top of that mixture, then blanketed the whole thing with the mozzerella. Very easy to put together, very versatile, and done in a flash! We look forward to having this delicious oven-baked stromboli often! Thanks for the great recipe! :)
