"This is an easy recipe to make. My Mom made this when we were short on food."

ingredients

• 1 smoked sausage, sliced thickly (round link kind)
• 1 (24 ounce) can baked beans (Bushes)
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 (16 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce

directions

1. Cut the sausage into thick slices.
2. Cook the sausage with onions till brown,.
3. Add the beans and bbq sauce.
4. Heat till bubbling.
5. Serve with mashed potatoes.
