Excellent! Easy to make, had great taste, I added small slices of yellow squash to it also and 2 kinds of sausage, it smelled so good, no one wanted to wait till it was done.~ thankyou
I loved this dish! It had an amazing flavour! instead of using three green peppers, I used one green and one red, and half a large red onion. I also used real garlic instead of garlic powder. This was a great dish, and I will make it often! Thanks so much princess buttercup!
A very tasty, easy to prepare dish. I didn't have any penne pasta so I used rotini, and only 2 peppers (mine were large). The next time I would fry the sausage first then add peppers and onions and stir fry. This would eliminate the need for olive oil but also let the meat brown which it does not fixed this way. Although still good fixed this way I just like the meat browned. I also used canned fire roasted diced tomatoes and the sugar puts a different twist to this dish which is good for a change. Makes a very good meal served with a salad and garlic bread. Thanks for posting.
This deceptively simple recipe is just bursting with flavour..I had bought some kielbasa on sale , so I searched this site and decided to try this one, and boy I'm glad I did; we just loved this with lashings of parmesan cheese....YUMMMMMMMM!
Great recipe! The only modifications I made were: substituting a red bell pepper for 1 of the green and adding a bit more sugar. I was concerned that it might be a bit too tomato(ee) for my children, but it wasn't! It received compliments from all (ages 4-15), Not a common occurance :-)
I love smoked sausage and my husband loves green peppers, I made this tonight and we were both happy. This is a great recipe and very easy to make. I'll be making this again and again! Thanks princess buttercup for a wonderful recipe!
This recipe was GREAT!!! Flavor outstanding!!! So easy to make. I own a deli and made this dish -- sold out instantly.
This was lovely.

I have only just decided to get into cooking as a resolution for the New Year and this is the first one I chose to cook. I followed it to the letter and was very happy with the results.

Thanks for the recipe.
We thought this was great. The only thing I did different was I used roasted red peppers, because I didn't have fresh. I didn't put them in the same time as the onions, I waited a minute. I also didn't add the sugar, and didn't miss it. I did add one thing though, some of the red wine I was sipping on. About a quarter cup. I didn't cook for full 20 minutes, as my sausage was thawed out. Probably 10-15 minutes.
i love this recipe.. i make it often for my family... what a great meal... love it
