Sausage, Green Pepper and Garlic Bread

  • Spray canola oil into large ziploc storage bag. Place loaf of bread into bag, seal and set out overnight on the kitchen counter. The next morning cook your sausage until almost done and add the green pepper and fennel. Cook until done. Let the sausage mixture cool for 10 minutes and then add the parmesan and 1 beaten egg. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile spread the flour onto a clean working surface. Take the dough out of the bag and shape into a ball. Roll the dough out into a rectangular shape. Should be at least 10 inches wide and 16 inches long. Spread mixture evenly onto dough, then add the fresh garlic. Roll from one end to the other making sure to seal both ends. Bake seam side down for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
