Very good! The whole family enjoyed these. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, buttery treats. Leftovers would be great for the kids' breakfast. Saw these on the King Arthur site; they suggest serving with eggs, grits, and fresh fruit. I used buttermilk, and twelve Jimmy Dean turkey sausages was just right. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Nice hearty biscuits!!! I made 1/4 of the recipe and did use 2% cheddar cheese, shredded, in order to make it fit more into my WW plan. I really loved the biscuit itself, but for me (and I am weird) I didn't care for the sausage slices being in my biscuit, but did love the added cheese and know that my DH will love these biscuit. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for the "Best of 2012" recipe tag game.

Great little breakfast. made these as written, though I subbed the cheese for some shredded Tex- Mex Blend. Took these to our volunteer hospital meeting and just reheated these in the microwave. Perfect since there is about 20 or so that volunteer, and we each had 1, with a couple leftover which I had when I got home. The baking/ cooking time was right on the money. These were nicely soft, and moist too. Great recipe, and everyone enjoyed them. Made for PRMR tag.

Delicious! I don't follow it exactly (who does, really?), but it's very wonderful. I use just milk instead of buttermilk (as I don't have any) and raw sausage. Fantastic. Eating some right now!
