This is so easy to make and it is a delicious appetizer, it was given to me by a friend.

  1. Blend sausage and cheese together.
  2. Mix in Bisquick 1 cup at a time, and blend well.
  3. roll into small to medium balls.
  4. place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  5. Watch that they dont burn.

This was just what I was looking for. I found many others on zaar, but they added so many other ingredients. A simple classic! Thanks! **Edited to add helpful hints: This mix will start out VERY dry, and you may get discouraged or think that you put in the wrong amount of Bisquick, but you didn't, just keep working it. Also, these get bigger when they bake, so make your balls a little smaller than you would like them to turn out; you'll also get more balls that way. Thanks again!

I have loved these since I was a child. My mother always made them to go on the snack tray for the family holiday parties we would have. I have always used 2 cups bisquick myself since they can be quite crumbly if there is too much. I also like more cheese in them....I am not sure how much I use I just make sure there is enough so that you see cheese on every single part of the sausage ball. Thanks for sharing!

These are an old classic. Sometimes the best recipe is the most simple recipe. Previous reviewer was right they do seem dry at first. Another reviewer said they were greasy and spread. That has never been my experience. These are good and go fast even with company. YUM
