This was really wonderful with our Easter breakfast! I made only one change to the ingredients, based on what I had on hand. I subbed buttermilk for the regular milk and it was like eating a buttermilk biscuit with sausage! I did cut my sausages into smaller pieces, about 1/2", but that wasn't really a change. Baked in an 11" x 8" casserole dish and served with butter and maple syrup. DEEELISH and filling! This is COMFORT food. Went perfectly with our fruit salad and scram eggs. Thanks so much for posting. Will make this again, for certain! (I bet it would also be tasty with some fresh blueberries thrown in and served with blueberry syrup...maybe next time!)
