A great appetizer.

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Make small balls.
  3. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  4. I put that this would serve 50 but that would depend on size.

So happy to find these -- just like my grandmother used to make. I have loved these since I was a kid -- so simple to throw together, freeze well (just throw in the microwave to reheat). Thanks!

I made these appetizers for my guests and they liked them pretty well!

I have made this for years (and my mother did before that) but I always thought these were dry, until I tried YOUR recipe. It was perfect! I only made a couple slight modifications...I used the entire 8oz bag of cheese because we love it and I could not bake mine for 20 minutes because my oven bakes a little hotter than most (baked for 13 minutes), but the recipe is GREAT! I used my stand mixer and it did not take long at all (used to mix by hand). Thank you so much for posting!
