  1. Made these to go along with a big buffet of appetizers at Super Bowl party. They where received very well and will definitely go into my saved file. Thanks Lili

  2. These were great - didnt' have miniature rye bread so toasted wheat bread and used a 3" diameter cookie cutter for center cut. They were a bit hit, had none left over.

  3. You are so right,LiLi. These are really nice to have in the freezer. I just heated some up to try them (I ate them with lunch) and they freeze and reheat very well. I made them exactly as directed. My neighbors often meet in the park in front of my house for cocktails. These will be perfect for taking out there. Thanks so much for posting!

  4. These did not last long! I used regular breakfast sausage and fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. My DH and DD ate them as fast as I could get them on the bread.

I live just North of Chicago in a small town with my husband Don and two kitties which we found in the woods. I love cooking, gardening, collecting cookbooks (vintage and new) and surfing the internet. My favorite chef right now is Rachael Ray. I love quick and easy and am just now getting into OAMC. I like freezing things in smaller portions as it is just the hubby and I. I also am into organics and making my own cosmetics and cleaning products. I work at a local store that sells, China, Crystal, and Sterling. I enjoy my job very much as I've been into china since a time I spent in England while in the Air Force, (many years ago). I also love working with the public so I'm fortunate my job suits me to a T.
