Very good and satisfying stew! I adjusted the recipe a bit, based upon ingredients on hand. I used 10 ounces hot Italian sausage chunks and a full 14.5 ounce can petite-diced tomatoes. I also subbed 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning for the rosemary and thyme. The stew combined really well with Cheese-Crusted Flat Bread. Thanks!
OMG!! This is soooo good! Easy and fast to make and so tasty! Really does taste like an "all-day" stew in a fraction of the time! I substituted turkey sausage and used broth in place of the wine. I have to make a double batch because we inhale this! It is our new favorite! Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!
This is very good! I also used Turkey sausage and a can of drained tomatoes. I simmered a little longer than suggested. Next time I will double everything, because I want more than what this makes!!:)
I really enjoyed this easy to make soup. I did make a few ingredient adjustments: I used lean hot turkey sausage for a little kick and about 1 cup of frozen (thawed) chopped spinach. I did not have the white wine and added 2 cans of chicken broth, for a more liquid soup rather than a thicker stew, as I also added one undrained 14oz can of diced tomatoes to the mix. I added just a bit of grated parmesan upon serving. I'm not a big fan of rosemary, but the herbs blended nicely. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's leftovers...thanks for posting!
Good, fast and easy-to-make. I made this using turkey Italian sausages and instead of the white wine used white grape juice. We served this with Italian bread for an enjoyable meal. Thanks for sharing!
