- 4 lbs smoked sausage
- 4 lbs sauerkraut
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons caraway seeds
- 3 teaspoons basil
- 9 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups hot water

- Open your bag of sauerkraut and rinse and drain and put in bottom of large crock pot. Cut up sausage and lay sausage on top of kraut. Put seasoning's and water on top of all and mix with spoon really good.
- Cook on high for 4 hours stirring every hour to mix well.
